In my dreams, I'm a posh interior design connoisseur with unlimited resources. In reality, I'm guilt-ridden every time I splurge on a West Elm throw pillow. With that said, I recently got a new apartment and decided that this time, my place was going to look like a Pinterest dream board. And guess what: I was able to makeover my entire home without breaking the bank.

Here's my little trick: Honey.

If you don't already know, Honey is a free browser app that automatically scans the Internet for every working coupon code while you're shopping online. Then at checkout, it magically applies the best deal to your cart! I used Honey to buy all my splurge-worthy pieces, and it saved me $154 on a West Elm order. Here's the low-down. First, add Honey to your browser for free. You'll see a little "h" button appear in your toolbar. When you're about to buy something online, you literally just click that button and the total price instantly drops if Honey finds a deal for you. It's really that easy. Sometimes, Honey will even find exclusive promo codes that aren’t normally available to the public. So before you go on your next shopping binge, do yourself a favor and try out this free tool. Your wallet will thank you.
